Holiday football matches have become a norm in England and the 2023/24 season is no exception.
With the Wolves vs Chelsea match taking place on December 24, this marks the first time since 1995 that the Premier League has held a match on Christmas. After that, there are matches on Boxing Day (gift giving ceremony) on December 26.
Similar to every year, Premier League matches will take place continuously from December 26 to January 3. Except for January 1, the remaining days all have matches taking place. This harsh schedule is both a challenge and an opportunity for the teams. If they make good use of it, they will advance very quickly on the rankings.
